Classic Drop-Point Hunter

This heirloom-quality knife has a 5-inch blade of 80Crv2 high-carbon steel, or AEB-L stainless steel. The brass guard is pinned and soldered in place. The handle scales are held in place with 1/4″ brass pins and West Systems G-Flex epoxy for a permanent fit.

The blade is hand-ground by me to a full flat grind from 5/32″ stock and the handle scales are profiled and finished by hand.

The knife is heat treated by me in my custom made electric furnace to optimize both hardness and toughness.

Each blade it tested using a Rockwell hardness tester to insure a proper heat treatment.

Price includes a handmade, Veg tanned American leather sheath.
